The Partnership were approached to install a new energy efficient heating system at Peterbrook Primary School.
The existing heating boilers were replaced with two gas-fired, freestanding, high efficiency condensing boilers.
“The Partnership have done a fantastic job replacing our boiler system. We now have a lovely warm school with an energy efficient system. Any issues were resolved quickly and contractors were mindful of noise levels to minimise disruption to classes in the school day. The work was completed on time and in budget”

Project Challenges & Solutions
A complete strip out of all old equipment and pipework was carried out, new bases were formed and drainage was installed. The new boilers were put in on a new concrete base. All the associated pipework was connected up to all the services feeding into all areas of the building, including the hot and cold water services in the boiler house..
A Gas Detection System was installed in the boiler room and a new Building Management System control panel to allow effective management of the new heating system.
Originally the sites mobile classrooms had a standalone boiler system and as part of this project, this was removed and the area incorporated into the main heating system. This has negated the need for a separate system and reduced costs to the school in relation to maintenance and servicing.
