Project Description:

The work carried out at Rushall Primary School and EDC was to install a new plant room as well as refurbish an existing one and replacing distribution pipework at the EDC.

Originally the whole building (EDC and Rushall Primary School) were served from one centralised plant room. New heating distribution pipework was installed throughout EDC; the existing pipework was stripped out where feasible.

A new water meter and gas enclosure were formed in the original boiler house to serve both the EDC and the primary school.

When the work in the EDC was complete, the main boiler house was refurbished to serve the Primary School.

The team involved with the work were highly professional, ensuring timescales were met.

"The work was carried out throughout the summer holidays, which as a result did not impact on the children's learning. The team involved with the work were highly professional, ensuring timescales were met. Timescales were extremely important, to ensure there was no disruption to the school. The management team worked effectively to liaise with us and the EDC, clearly communicating timescales throughout the project. I would like to thank the whole team for their hard work and professionalism throughout the project."
